On Wednesday 9th November, the LVI and UVI chemists and biologists attended an insightful Antibiotics Conference at the ChemLabS at the University of Bristol, as part of the school's contribution to Antibiotic Awareness Week.
After what turned out to be a very exciting debate on the EU referendum in the summer, our second debate was equally current. This time it was The John Bentley School hosting the debate and our motion was: 'This House Believes that Donald Trump can make America great again.'
On Tuesday evening we had the pleasure of welcoming photojournalist Sue Cunningham and her journalist husband Patrick, to deliver a lecture on their experiences interacting with, photographing and helping the various tribes of Brazil’s indigenous people for over twenty years.
During Enrichment Week, the MIV girls took part in an art and technical activity - Olympic Photoshop Ping Pong.
The One Day Film School gave the LIV girls a fascinating practical introduction to filmmaking and visual media creation. The culmination of the day saw them working in teams to create their own Ten-Shot films, all in time for a Film Festival and awards ceremony.
