On Saturday 12th November, the girls in St Cecilia's, Gibbins and Joyce Walters Houses all enjoyed their socials with Eton and Winchester College.
Fascinating Antibiotics Conference at the University of Bristol
On Wednesday 9th November, the LVI and UVI chemists and biologists attended an insightful Antibiotics Conference at the ChemLabS at the University of Bristol, as part of the school's contribution to Antibiotic Awareness Week.
Girls enjoy Junior Debating Competition at The John Bentley School
After what turned out to be a very exciting debate on the EU referendum in the summer, our second debate was equally current. This time it was The John Bentley School hosting the debate and our motion was: 'This House Believes that Donald Trump can make America great again.'
Girls discover the 'Heart of Brazil'
On Tuesday evening we had the pleasure of welcoming photojournalist Sue Cunningham and her journalist husband Patrick, to deliver a lecture on their experiences interacting with, photographing and helping the various tribes of Brazil’s indigenous people for over twenty years.

During Enrichment Week, the MIV girls took part in an art and technical activity - Olympic Photoshop Ping Pong.
Girls become filmmakers for the day!
The One Day Film School gave the LIV girls a fascinating practical introduction to filmmaking and visual media creation. The culmination of the day saw them working in teams to create their own Ten-Shot films, all in time for a Film Festival and awards ceremony.
Memorable trip for UIV to the Battlefields of World War One
On Monday 17th October the UIV and six members of staff set off to the World War One battlefields of Flanders and the Somme.
LVI Engineering Education Scheme with Schneider Electric

On Thursday 13th October, a group of UVI Form girls headed to Radley College for a charity talk on 'The meaning of courage' which was held in aid of Walking with the Wounded.
A Memorable trip to the Olympic Park, London
On Monday 17th October, as part of the Enrichment Week activities, some very excited LIV and MIV girls and six staff boarded the coach to London for a visit to the Olympic Park, London
St Mary's Calne at the Independent Schools Show, London
St Mary's Calne will be exhibiting at the Independent Schools Show in Battersea Park on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November.
