The Mandarin Department led two culture-rich activities for UIV (Year ) during Donaldson Week.

Mrs Husband demonstrated classic Chinese calligraphy with a modern twist, to paint cherry blossom trees with brushes and straws. Mrs Mitchell introduced a brief history of the famous Chinese blue and white porcelain, dating back to the 7th century AD. All of the girls had a fabulous time designing intricate oriental patterns on plates. Their creative work is being displayed in ML3 classroom for others to see!
