HR Manager

Full time -January 2021

The suitably qualified and experienced HR Manager will have an exciting opportunity to design and deliver an updated Human Resources Strategy that supports the schools’ wider strategic plans. S/he will be working alongside members of the bursarial team, the Bursary Administrator, Payroll and Pensions Officer and the Financial Controller, reporting on all HR matters to the relevant members of the Senior Leadership Teams of both St Mary's Calne and St Margaret's Prep School.  S/he will provide practical, pragmatic advice and support to the Heads and SLTs, managers and wider staff of both our schools, and to the staff of the on-site Sports Club.  Our organisations currently employ 430 staff on 2 payrolls.

Replacing a system of HR management currently overseen by the Bursar, this new role is an opportunity for an experienced candidate to share their expertise to drive our schools forward in this area.

Alumnae Relations Manager

Full time or Part time (negotiable dependent on candidate)

November 2020 (subject to availability)

Reporting to the Director of Development, there is an opportunity for a smart and dynamic individual to devise and implement the strategy for fostering excellent alumnae relations that will build and strengthen relationships between the School, the Calne Foundation Trust and the Calne Girls’ Association in order to maximise alumnae and donor interest in, and engagement with, the School.
