Netball at St Mary’s goes from strength to strength. We have 20 teams in all age groups from U12 through to the 1st and 2nd Senior Teams.

It is the PE Department’s aim that all girls in the first three years are members of a Netball Team training regularly and playing matches. Team training takes place in the games lessons, at lunchtimes as well as after school so that girls get a real opportunity to develop their skills. Matches are played against a variety of schools such as Marlborough, Stonar, Bruton, King Edward’s and local schools from the Calne and Chippenham area.

St Mary’s Teams also take part in Invitation Tournaments as well as the National Schools’ Tournament in the U19, U16 and U14 age groups. In this prestigious event St Mary’s Teams have regularly qualified for the County and South West competitions. We are now also taking part in the Sisters n Sport competitions for the U14, U15, U16 and 1st Teams.
