On Wednesday 14th September, the Fourth Form took part in the annual Inter-Company Cross Country event in the sunshine.
With three different distances, increasing per year group, the excitement was building up on St Prisca's field. The LIV (Year 7) took off at a very quick pace, with help from Mr Corripio-Lopez and Mrs Muir running alongside them and the support of their Companies cheering them on. Kitty came in first place for Ed Rich Company.
With the longest distance, the UIV (Year 9) went next, with a very close finish for 2nd and 3rd position, and with Bea finishing 1st for Moberly. Finally, the MIVs (Year 8s) ran last, again with a very close battle, but it was Moberly who came out on top again, with Taggie finishing in 1st place.
With Mrs Thompson adding up the results, the girls in 1st place received their medals before it was announced that the top position was joint and had to go down to points earned rather than positions. The overall winners of the 2022 Inter-Company Cross Country event went to ED RICH by 1 point!
