After the postponement of the St Mary's Horse Show during the Summer Term, the new date did not disappoint. This time we were hosting the NSEA Eventers Challenge Qualifiers, which are qualifier's for a competition where the finals are held at beautiful Hickstead during May Half Term.

With just under 250 rounds entered from 34 different schools it was certainly well supported, even on a rather cold and damp November day.

We also were sporting a brand new St Mary's branded show jump which made its much talked about appearance at the heart of the Indoor School at West Wilts Equestrian Centre.

In the 80cm, it was lovely to see Lara M. on the young horse that she is producing herself jump a lovely round. Florence O. Esme H. and Honor I. also jumped wonderful rounds in the class.

Florence, Honor I. and Niamh also all represented the school in the 90cm class.

A very special mention to Niamh R. (UIV, Year 9) who won the 100 class, the last class of the day. She has now qualified for the English Schools Eventer Challenge Finals at Hicktead in May.

There was lots of outstanding jumping throughout the day. Well done to all.
