On Wednesday 23rd of November, Miss Thomas and her lovely Catering Team provided us with a Nigerian themed supper. I spoke with Miss Thomas in order to organise the supper a few weeks ago, and she was very enthusiastic and gave me a Nigerian cook book to choose some recipes from. Together we decided on a menu which consisted of jollof rice with either roasted vegetables, spicy chicken or ribs with a side of fried plantain for the main, sugar coated puff puff for dessert and chapman as a drink choice. This was accompanied by green and white napkins to reflect the colour of the Nigerian flag and Nigerian music playing from the speakers whilst we ate. It was a lovely evening with delicious food and the Catering Team did a wonderful job!
