The PGSM Christmas Fair on Friday 18th November was a huge success. The PGSM Committee would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support of this event, through your donations to the stalls as well as by attending and purchasing items on the day. The external stalls were complemented by some new additions this year with Millie Pink being a firm favourite and the trial of having a Food Truck for the first time has provided lots of ideas for next year!
Seed for Thought, St Mary’s Young Enterprise Company, did a roaring trade selling Christmas cards and plants and taking orders for their planners. We were also pleased to support Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service (SDASS) in the form of two charity stalls, one selling “Sorted” a handy book of helpful hints and hacks that SDASS has produced to raise funds for garden improvements at the residential Refuge of the charity and the other taking orders for pyjamas, designed by two LVI, with all profit going to SDASS.
The PGSM stalls were once again, very popular with the Bottle and Chocolate Tombola a firm favourite, with twice the amount of donations compared to last year it still had to close before the end of the Fair! The Raffle created great excitement with parents, girls (and staff!) eager to win some fabulous prizes. Thank you for your very generous donations.
A fantastic total of £6,192.05 was raised.
