On Friday 9th June, LIV enjoyed a sunny trip out to Bristol Aquarium as part of their 'Plastics in the Ocean' scheme of work in Science.
The girls were able to see a plethora of aquatic life, from sharks and rays to seahorses and turtles!
We had a guided tour of the aquarium, where the girls learnt about seahorse reproduction, the differences between a ray and a sting ray, and the diversity of ecosystems within the ocean.
They were able to learn about the importance of reducing plastic waste and how it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of the oceans.
Overall, a great day was had by all!
