The Inter-Company competition and the Leang Cup were fiercely contested this year, following the same format as last year: LIV and MIV teamed up, UIV and LV joined forces, and the senior competition involved UV, LVI, and UVI. With each event contributing points to the overall cup, the competition was wide open until the very end.

UV, LVI, UVI

The senior competition had it all, great saves from first time keepers, super goals and excellent team work from players who had not picked up a stick since UIV! Osmund kept scores close against the opposition which gained them points but the main battle was between high scoring Moberly and Poore. With the teams playing out a 2-2 draw it came down to goal difference with Moberly taking the top position.

UIV & LV

This was a hard-fought competition with last years winners Poore hoping to have a successful repeat, however they found their first game hard going with a 1-0 loss to Ed Rich. The Ed Rich team kept themselves in the mix with another win against Osmund but then had two further draws. Hot on their heels were Grosstete, with two wins, one draw and one loss, however it was Moberly leading the way with three wins to finish in top place.

LIV & MIV

The Junior Competition, playing 6 a-side and modified rules allowed for fast paced action but gave the opportunity for players to use their skills and work as a team. Poore started well with a win against Ed Rich and kept up the play winning their remaining games apart from a draw against Moberly.  Last years junior winners Moberly finished with 2 draws and a win and were beaten to second place by Osmund who only lost one game to Poore.
