Music Production lessons continue with Mr Allard this year, with several exciting songs currently in the making. Mia W (LVI) wrote, recorded and produced No Jueges Conmigo (Don't Play with Me!) last month; a captivating South American-themed song, collaborating with Hermione B (UV) on vocals. The song is part of Mia's portfolio and being used towards university applications. Mia wrote the song immediately after the October Half Term and Hermione demonstrated true professionalism, learning the song very quickly. The two girls independently arranged to meet in the Glennie studio and recorded the vocals over a few short sessions. Mia then worked further on the production of the song with Hermione's soulful vocals taking centre stage. The result: No Jeuges Conmigo!
If all this cold weather has left you yearning for some summer heat, this song is the perfect antidote to single-figure temperatures. But be warned, it is very catchy!
