This Saturday 18 January, the highly anticipated St Mary's Horse Show, a NSEA Arena Eventing (JwS) National Championship Qualifier event, will take place at the West Wilts Equestrian Centre from 10am to 1.30pm. With classes ranging from 70cm to 1m10 over a course of show jumps and arena style fences it is set to be an exciting day. Qualifications for the National Championships in October will be up for grabs in each class. Presentations will take place at the end of each class with the St Mary's Calne rosettes and prizes to be handed out.
Lucy Davies, leader of Equestrian at St Mary’s Calne and coordinator of the event, shared her enthusiasm: ‘We are incredibly proud of the equestrian programme here at St Mary's Calne, and this year's show is going to be a true celebration of the hard work and dedication of our riders. We have eight girls representing the school this year which is fantastic who will be joining a field of riders from local junior and senior schools. We can't wait to see everyone come together for what promises to be a wonderful day.'
Parents and supporters are very welcome to come along.
