St Mary's Calne
On Wednesday 21 May, St Mary’s and St Margaret’s enjoyed their annual Cricket Festival with students from years 5 to 8 enjoying cricket across both school sites and matches at Avebury Cricket Club.
Avebury CC hosted two hardball matches and one soft ball match with mixed teams of St Mary’s and St Margaret’s. At home, there were three softball matches across pool pitch and the St Margaret’s field. It was inspiring to see over 100 students enjoying cricket as well as seeing students collaborate across the two schools, making new friends and for some having their first cricket match experience.
