St Mary’s swimmers competed impressively at the Downe House Independent School Relays, showcasing their skills in both the U13 and U15 categories against strong teams from across the region.

On Thursday 1 May, we hosted its first Home Clothes Charity Day of the term in support of a wonderful cause - fundraising to send pre-owned academic books to schools in Sierra Leone, helping improve educational access for children there.

With the Summer Term well underway, cricket has taken centre stage for St Mary’s students, with training and competitive matches already in full flow at the picturesque Avebury Cricket Club.

On Thursday 1 May, the school orchestra gathered in the Chapel for the summer term’s much-anticipated A Night with the Orchestra concert.

On Friday 2 May, six St Mary's pupils were treated to an unforgettable experience at the Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis Club, featuring elite training with Head Professional Dan Bloxham, a surprise match appearance, exclusive tours, and inspiring encounters with tennis legends.

This week, the LIV students enjoyed a creative day at the Holburne Museum in Bath, exploring iconic portraiture, taking part in a mixed media workshop, and finishing with observational drawing in sunny Sydney Gardens.

On Monday 28 April, the PE Department’s annual Sports Awards presentation evening celebrated student sporting achievements with a talk by England Masters Hockey player Sabina Falcone-Healy and lots of awards!
